Chevrolet LEGO Batmobile
There were a number of exciting vehicle reveals this year at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show, but for the comic-loving child in many of us, Chevrolet’s LEGO Batmobile made for a particularly fun rendition of many kids’ first favorite car. The LEGO Batmobile isn’t exactly a “road-ready” model—it was made out of 34,000+ LEGO pieces and “designed to strike fear in the heart of any villain.” After checking out the specs, it’s no wonder why! Take a closer look before the LEGO Batman Movie comes out next month.

Imposing Specs

Measuring at 17 feet, the LEGO Batmobile—if you can stretch your imagination a bit—is ready to take on evil like no other. Powered by a 60.2L V100 engine, the LEGO Batmobile has a total output of 20,000 hp and 7,450 lb-ft of torque. This rocket fueled powertrain is joined by dual rocket boosters and Batwing flight capability, and it comes with Race Mode, Monster Truck Mode, and Parallel Park Mode. Need to tow lots of gear behind your Batmobile? That won’t be a problem, as this superhero hauler can tow up to 120,000 pounds.

Convenience for the Gotham Saver

Saving the city and world are top priorities when it comes to the LEGO Batmobile, but even the caped crusader wants to enjoy some creature comforts from time to time. That’s why the LEGO Batmobile comes equipped with some of the latest high-tech conveniences like those in the real-life Chevrolet lineup, including:

  • Portable Wi-Fi: Batman can stay connected to Commissioner Gordon on the go, thanks to a 4G LTE Wi-Fi connection.
  • Teen Driver Technology: Handing the Batmobile over to Robin for the first time can make you a little nervous. That’s why the LEGO Batmobile lets you track driving habits via Teen Driver Technology. Of course, this version tacks on more than usual, including Side Batwing Conversion, an X-Ray Vision Camera, and Automatic Nerd Alert.
