What’s Included in the Chevy Warranty?

By Sunrise Chevrolet | April 19th, 2018

Every new Chevrolet comes with the standard Chevy warranty, designed to offer protection when you need it. Sunrise Chevy in Glendale Heights is your local dealer resource for Carol Stream and Bloomingdale. We can help you understand what’s part of the Chevy factory warranty and what is covered under the Chevy powertrain warranty.

Bumper-to-Bumper Limited Warranty

Your Chevy warranty protects you for almost anything that goes wrong during the first three years or 36,000 miles that you have your new vehicle. It excludes a few things, like the actual bumpers themselves, glass, and many interior items, but it includes tires, electronics, audio, air conditioning, and much more.

Powertrain Limited Warranty

The Chevy powertrain warranty covers the first five years or 60,000 miles, and your car’s engine, transmission, and other parts that deliver power to the propulsion system are what’s included. Items that wear out, like the battery and clutch for example, are excluded.
