I have worked at this location since 1985 and since 2008 I have held the position of the Service Director. I believe Chevrolet is the best product ever. I have many things that I’m involved with outside of the dealership. I hold the position of President for the Service and Parts Manager Association and a member of the Glendale Heights Chamber. My name is Matt Dickerson and I have been with Sunrise Chevrolet since 2007. I have been in the automotive industry for almost 15 years selling only the Chevrolet Brand. I have been honored with the Chevrolet “Mark Of Excellence Award” for the last three consecutive years and have been the ” Salesman of the Year” for Sunrise Chevrolet in 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011. A few fun facts when I started at Sunrise in 1997 Bill Clinton was president, Green Bay Packers won the Super Bowl, the Bulls won the NBA Championship, the movie Titanic was released, Princess Diana Died, The average price of gas was $1.22 a gal, the average price of a new car was $16,000, the average rent cost was $576.00 mo., the average house was $124000.00, and the Dow was at 7000 so we have had some big changes in the past 20 years. I had 2 children when I started at Sunrise, now I have added 2 grandchildren 1 grand cat and 1 grand dog and about 20lbs not too shabby!!! The main thing is that I am still here doing my best to help our customers and employees in any way I can. Happy 20th Anniversary!!!
