The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible is now available at Sunrise Chevrolet of Glendale Heights. There’s no denying the appeal of the Corvette, and this special anniversary edition of the classic American automobile takes everything drivers and enthusiasts have loved about the vehicle and wrapped it all up in one nice package.
Sixty Years of Amazing Automobiles
It's hard to believe that the Corvette has been around for sixty years already, but here we are with this collector's edition looking sharper than ever.
Determining whether to discuss the style or the rumbling under the hood first is a tough one, as they are both significant draws to this famous roadster, but we figured you'd need time to pick your jaw up off of the floor once you heard that the Corvette 427 can go from 0-60 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
That acceleration comes compliments of a 7.0L LS7 aluminum block V8 engine capable of 505 hp and roaring off of the line with 470 lb-ft of torque.
You've got multiple different trim levels to choose from, letting you customize the 'Vette exactly how you want it. The 2LT/1SA is the basic model, although calling a Corvette “basic” certainly seems like it should be a crime. This trim level features a range of tech options including Bluetooth connectivity, SiriusXM satellite radio, a Bose nine-speaker stereo system, and more starting at $75,925.
The 3LT/1SB is a step up, featuring a power-folding convertible top, heated seats with perforated leather upholstery, and a power-telescoping steering column. Finally, the 4LT/1SC includes a custom leather-wrapped interior package with suede microfiber seat inserts and a Carbon Gunmetal console trim plate.
