Note to Haggerty Villa Park, Elgin Toyota Scion, Bill Kay Downers Grove, Napleton Arlington Heights...did I forget to mention that not only was I in the market for a car, but so was my husband, and he was gauging where he'd do business based on the dealership that would take his wife seriously when she came in on her own? Did I forget to mention you lost out on TWO deals?? Oops, silly me. Because Sunrise Chevrolet not only took my questions seriously, but treated me with respect and without the pain in the ass haggling and arguing that comes with buying a car. Now, my husband is going to make every effort to find a car with them. boom.BIG thank you to Raul Martinez, greatest salesperson I've ever worked with. He was patient, went above and beyond in explaining all of the ins and outs of the 2013 Buick Encore I was looking at, advised me on what to look for in the car as well as with financing, and was ZERO b.s. He stayed with me past 9pm, while all the guys made it obvious they were closing up and wanted to go home. He sat in my new car with me and explained EVERY button, lol. He helped set up Sirius and OnStar. I could've figured it out, or he could've directed me to the manual in the glove compartment, but he took the time because he's the type of salesperson who actually cares about the product he's putting out there, and not just the commission he'll get. He has even offered to help me with scheduling any service calls in the future so that he can ensure a loaner would be available for me to use while work would be done on my car. Not that I go to the dealer for work on my car, but it's nice to know employees at this dealership back up the service they provide. My husband had established contact with the dealership first, and told them I'd be coming in by myself. Anyone will agree, buying a car is a draining process. I had told him this is the last dealership I'm going to actively look at; if it didn't work out, I would just casually look over the next few weeks. A car is a necessarily evil, but not a need, at least not in my book. At first, I thought I was getting good service because my husband had initiated contact with them, but not once did they even bring up potentially doing business with him. And, when I looked at a car he might be interested in, and thought it wouldn't work for this or that reason, Raul said no problem and that was that. No pressure at all.Thank you as well to the Sales Manager Eric and finance officer Rick....it was a super seamless process to get through financing, easier than my last 3 car-buying experiences over the years. No unnecessary extended warranties or Gap insurance were shoved at me, or secretly included in the costs. They said they don't even bring it up unless the customer asks for it. Everything was upfront, and like I said, no b.s. vibe.I mean, car buyers out there, obviously do your homework. Don't walk in to ANY dealership without knowing about interest rates, your credit score, warranties, etc. But, this place, dare I say, was a pleasure doing business with?? Because it was. I am grateful that they respected my boundaries and budget concerns, and sincerely worked with me to get to a comfortable place with my purchase. I am very happy this car-buying experience is over, but I'm very satisfied that I did business with a rock-star dealership. Thank you!
I am extremely pleased with the purchase of my Camaro and my experience with Sunrise was excellent from start to finish. Josh Morgan was my first contact, and I could not ask for better treatment, assistance, and guidance through this entire experience. The entire staff of Sunrise is very welcomin Read More...
About 6 years ago I was in the market to get a car. I was fortunate enough that I had the opportunity to get my first new car at 18. After some resurch I walked in Sunrise and Primo was one of the greatest guys to help me with this. I came out with a 2012 Chevy Sonic that I loved! Unfortunately a f Read More...
